Цель исследования – охарактеризовать типы билингвизма, реализуемые в речевых практиках тувинской молодежи в условиях несбалансированной языковой ситуации. Методологическую основу составили социолингвистический опрос и анализ анкетных данных, обработанных с помощью количественных методов. Выборка исследования включает 187 респондентов в возрасте 18–31 года, для которых тувинский язык является первым усвоенным. Результаты исследования демонстрируют преобладание раннего последовательного билингвизма, при котором русский язык активно осваивается с началом школьного обучения. Установлено четкое функциональное распределение языков: тувинский язык сохраняет доминирование в сферах неформального и внутрисемейного общения (с родителями, пожилыми родственниками, в быту), тогда как русский язык абсолютно преобладает в официально-деловой, образовательной и профессиональной коммуникации. Полученные данные свидетельствуют об активном процессе языкового сдвига в городской среде, где русский язык выступает инструментом социальной мобильности, а тувинский сохраняет роль маркера этнокультурной идентичности. Выводы работы вносят вклад в понимание динамики билингвизма в Туве и могут быть использованы в языковом планировании и образовательной политике.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article analyzes Tuvan-Russian bilingualism functioning in the modern urban space, based on the city of Kyzyl, the capital of the Republic of Tuva. The aim of our research is to characterize the types of bilingualism realized in the speech practices of Tuvan youth within the context of an unbalanced language situation. The methodological basis consists of a sociolinguistic survey and analysis of the questionnaire data processed using quantitative methods. The research sample included 187 respondents aged 18–31, for whom the Tuvan language was the first acquired language. The results of the study demonstrate the prevalence of early sequential bilingualism, where the Russian language is actively acquired with the start of formal schooling. We established a clear functional distribution of the languages: the Tuvan language maintains dominance in the spheres of informal and intra-family communication (with parents, elderly relatives, in everyday life), while the Russian language absolutely predominates in official, business, educational, and professional communication. The obtained data indicate an active process of language shift in the urban environment, where the Russian language serves as a tool for social mobility, while Tuvan retains the role of a marker of ethno-cultural identity.
