В работе рассмотрены различные дефиниции кейс-технологии, вариативные формы кейсов в проекции учебных целей, определены структурные элементы кейсов, выделены этапы работы с ними. Представлены результаты педагогического эксперимента с применением кейс-технологии, что позволило определить эффективность использования ее на уроке английского языка. В рамках исследования были разработаны методические рекомендации, определена роль преподавателя на уроке иностранного языка с применением кейсов. Отдельное внимание в работе уделено выбору темы кейсов, раскрывающих повседневные актуальные проблемы общества, с целью повышения мотивации учащихся. Экспериментальным путем доказано, что кейс-технология позволяет эффективно систематизировать знания учащихся в конкретной предметной области, применять изученный материал на практике, осмысливать реальные ситуации, мыслить критически. В работе использовался метод теоретического анализа научной литературы и федеральных государственных образовательных стандартов второго поколения (ФГОС-2), методы педагогического моделирования и опытной экспериментальной проверки, математико-статистического анализа обработки результатов исследования.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>   This article characterizes the case study as an effective tool for the development of metasubject skills of high school students in the English lesson. The research considers various definitions of the case study, variable forms of cases in the projection of educational goals, defines the structural elements of cases and identifies the stages of work with them. The article presents the results of a pedagogical experiment with the use of the case study in the English lesson. This allowed us to gauge its effectiveness. The study developed methodological recommendations and determined the role of the teacher in a foreign language lesson based on the case study. We focused on the choice of the case topics that reveal everyday current problems of society in order to increase students’ motivation. It is experimentally proved that the case study allows us to effectively systematize students’ knowledge in a specific subject area, use the studied material in practice, comprehend real situations and think critically.
