Abstract
The article analyzes explicitly evaluative Internet comments as narratives of personal experience. The growth of online communication in the digital samizdat discourse through online commenting determines the relevance of our study. The research novelty is its comprehensive analysis of online comments as a special type of textual expression both reflecting subjective perceptions and recreating the user’s value orientations. The object of the study is online comments as socio-communicative units; the subject is the methods of constructing meaning and experience through written interaction in online discourse. The aim of this work is to identify the main mechanisms for constructing an axiogenic narrative in comments on digital samizdat platforms and to determine their role in personal self-determination. This study utilized the methods for generalizing and systematizing empirical data to structure the information and identify the key trends. We employed a linguistic text analysis for an in-depth examination of semantics, stylistics, morphology, and syntax to conduct a detailed examination of linguistic features and structural elements of the narrative commentaries. These methods provided a comprehensive approach to the study of the language and its functional aspects within the context of the topic. The article contributes to the understanding of the dynamics and significance of Internet comments in contemporary society by considering comments in the digital environment and their possible typology. We investigated the role of personal experience in substantiating the users’ claims and the significance of such narratives for their self-identification in online communities. The article focuses on the specifiers of information perception and its interpretation in the context of online communication, emphasizing the diversity of opinions and cultural contexts represented online. The study results demonstrate that online comments serve not only as a means of information exchange, but also as a tool for emotional self-expression and collective reflection on experience, expanding our understanding of communicative interactions in the modern media space.
