Abstract
The article studies the prayer as one of the techniques of psychologism in the story by G. GizzatullinaGaysarova. Our purpose is to study the role and function of using a prayer in the work by the Bashkir prose writer. The analysis is based on her story “The Prayer of My Love”. To achieve this goal, we used the comparative-historical, descriptive, functional and psychological methods. The analysis showed that the peculiarity of the writer’s manner is the use of the gender approach and the narration from the main character’s perspective. The psychological content of the work is revealed due to the writer’s ability to show the depth of human feelings using an emotionally colored artistic language, her skill to convey characteristic psychologism by means of such expressive techniques as a monologue, dialogue, letter, diary, confession and prayer. Thus, the writer’s mastership has made it possible to take a step forward in understanding deep human feelings and the embodiment of her character’s spiritual exploits; the reception of the prayer in the story helps to understand the emotions of the characters and comprehend the individual features of human nature.
The results of this study may contribute to the further study of the artistic psychologism in the writer’s prose.
