Features of clichéd vocabulary in classical Arabic and its dialects (in the intentions “Greetings”, “Gratitude”, “Advice”, “Invitations”, “Congratulations”, “Apologies”, and “Farewells”)

   This article examines general and distinctive characteristics of the Arabic dialects of Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt and Morocco in comparison with the classical literary language in order to identify specific features of clichéd vocabulary based on the intentions “Greetings”, “Gratitude”, “Advice”, “Invitations”,
“Congratulations”, “Apologies”, and “Farewells”. We analyze formal and informal speech situations (when communicating with friends, close people, and also in a formal setting).

   Scientific research relevance of the work is determined by the increased linguists’ interest in the problems of language dialectology in general and the Arabic language in particular.

   Today, the study of dialects is an important aspect for Arabists, as well as for native speakers of the Arabic language to be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with representatives of various dialect groups.

   The purpose of this study is to highlight specific features of Arabic dialects in comparison with literary Arabic based on the intentions “Greetings”, “Gratitude”, “Advice”, “Invitations”, “Congratulations”, “Apologies”, and “Farewells”.

   The article summarizes information about the several dialects’ features of the Arabic language, analyzes the current state and the degree of study of the issue, and provides the corresponding theoretical and empirical material. In the process of writing the article, we used theoretical analysis, and empirical, comparative, historical, linguo-geographical and other research methods.
