Structural and grammatical features of Russian polysemantic phraseological units with a proper name component (the analysis of object phraseological units)

Abstract

   Russian phraseological units with a proper name component are distinguished due to the character and properties of their name component that interacts with the properties and features of other components, making up the phraseological unit, which determines the structural, semantic and syntactic features of the phraseological unit and identifies the scope of its use. The components of a phraseological unit are characterized by grammatical meanings that organize its semantic structure, which influences the development of its meaning, or meanings. Modern phraseology studies grammatical structure characteristics of phraseological units to address issues in the field of phraseological functions and their development, as this approach allows identifying patterns of structural dependence of phraseological units on the syntactic units of the language, which are a productive basis for the development of phraseological units. This article analyzes polysemantic object phraseological units with a proper name component, taking into account the cultural correlation of the proper name with the cultural continuum, namely, phraseological units with anthroponyms, mythonyms, historical onyms, literary onyms and chrononyms. The research highlights special types of onyms in the structure of polysemantic object phraseological units with a proper name component and their structural models based on certain types of phrases and sentences. The article also shows the results of the structural and quantitative analysis of polysemantic phraseological units selected from the Phraseological Dictionary of the Russian Literary Language, the Academic Dictionary of the Russian Phraseology and the Dictionary of Proper Names.
