Peculiarities of compound words in Bella Akhmadulina’s lyrical poetry

Abstract
Bella Akhmadulina’s poetry is characterized by unique language, richness of emotions and intensive use of compound words. As a linguistic phenomenon, the role of compound words in Bella Akhmadulina’s poetry has not been sufficiently studied so far, especially in terms of their emotional expressiveness and artistic impact. Therefore, the article studies the features of compound words in Bella Akhmadulina’s lyrical poetry. To achieve this goal, by conducting a systematic structural and semantic analysis of compound words in the poetry of Bella Akhmadulina, this paper explores the diverse role of compound words in conveying emotions, building cultural symbols and artistic images, thereby revealing their unique artistic value in poetry. The abundant use of compound words in Bella Akhmadulina’s poetry allows the poetess to demonstrate her unique power in interweaving emotions and language, which becomes an important tool for the poet to express personal experience, cultural identity and emotional fluctuations. Bella Akhmadulina’s poetry is characterized by the use of metaphorical images, sound painting, color painting, antithesis and other tropes, figures and rhetorical devices, resulting in giving her poetry a richer layering and expressiveness, increasing the artistic attractiveness of her works.
