Journal “Philology and Culture" founded in 2003, registered approved by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media as a mass media outlet.

Since February 2010, the journal has been included in the List of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation, where the main scientific results of dissertations for the degrees of candidate and doctor of science should be published. Since 2010, the journal has been published with a strict frequency of 8 issues in two years (4 issues per year), and delivery of a mandatory copy of the publication to the Information Telegraph Agency of Russia (ITAR-TASS) is also provided.

Journal “Philology and Culture» is registered in the Russian Science Citation Index (hereinafter referred to as RSCI) and provides RSCI with information about published scientific articles, as well as full texts of articles within three months from the date of issue of the corresponding edition number (http://elibrary.ru/contents.asp?titleid=10535).

The journal publishes articles by scientists from more than 50 Russian cities. Many publications in the journal belong to scientists from leading educational and scientific centers in Moscow scientists from the Moscow State University named after M.V.
