Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of network genres’ consistency, their classification and the identification of network texts’ general and specific features.
The purpose of the work is to describe the system of network speech genres in the Russian-language network discourse.
Internet discourse is defined as a special semiotic system, a network language that serves various spheres of human activity and is implemented in network speech in relatively stable types of utterances – network genres. The article identifies, analyzes and classifies generic and specific features of network genres. According to the type of content, network genres can be divided into primary and secondary; from the point of view of temporary communicative modality, we distinguish the genres of instant response and the genres of deferred feed-back; according to the type of formal evaluation, the genres of single and bigeminal formal evaluation communication are identified. The generic defining features of network genres, arising from the tasks and specifics of network communication, are their versatility, multi-channel character and their ostensively inferential principle. We should consider network genres to be a separate system of speech genres due to the fact that all the features of the genre system have pronounced specificity in the new digital discourse. The digital age generates a special genre thinking, dictating new rules of communication and genre design of texts.
